Welcome!

We're Timmy and Tucker, and we're hoping to become dads through open adoption. Our journey began in 2020, and though it's been challenging, our commitment to welcoming a child into our home is stronger than ever. We created this space to share our story and connect with birth mothers considering an adoption plan.

Today Mr. Besel is now “Tucker” the student! Today is his official first day of classes. He’s also starting a job working in a physics lab on campus. He’s very excited to embark on this new journey!

Today Kona graduated from puppy school! She’s been “going to school” on and off for the last few weeks and today was her last day. Her trainer said that she “graduated,” yay! Skills she’s learned and close to maste

We had a great weekend in Austin, MN with Tucker’s family! We shucked, blanched, cut and bagged ~140 cups of corn. Lots of “big days” as well like anniversaries and a birthday. It was a great week and weekend!

Kona has had a great last couple of weeks 🐕 Today we got back from another great weekend camping with Tucker’s parents in SW Minnesota and she is one tired pup! Here are some highlights from camping and others from earlier in the week too 🙂

It’s been 2 years of wonderful marriage! We’ve done a lot in the last year to strengthen our marriage and to grow our family. We both know the next year with be just as wonderful because we have each other, arm in arm 👬
