Our 28th Live Stream Update: Our 2nd anniversary for our wedding is this week! This week we talk about a few things here and there. We recently resubmitted our background check to make sure we're all current for our adoption homestudy.

Happy 4th of July from the Besels! Kona experienced her first parade in Austin, MN and large amount of people; she did great! 4th of July is an exciting time in the Besel family. We love the parade and firework shows!

Our 24th Live Stream Update: It was a big week in the Besel household. We’re getting a puppy AND we went home with a new car! It’s fun to think that someday Baby Besel will interact with both puppy and car We might not be able to control the timeline of adopting our human baby, but we are able to have control over these . Puppy (no name yet) is a border collie, we will welcome her into our family on the 6th! Car is a Chevy Bolt, all electric!

We’re camping again! This time we got out on the water on Lake Shetek for an icy but refreshing dip . No livestream today because there is very poor internet at the campground (Tucker is currently parked down the road from camp typing this post ) Have a great week everyone!

Our 23rd Live Stream Update: This week we took our livestream outside! We LOVE gardening and the outdoors. Saturday, we planted 101 veggies (Tucker counted!) In adoption journey news, we're officially "live" in The Book for our adoption agency, which is exciting!

Our 20th Live Stream Update: This week we had a special guest star! Luke Bennett made an appearance as we continue to enjoy seeing family and friends again after a long year of living the quarantine life. Check out the video to find out about one of our oldest and dearest friends!

Our 19th Live Stream Update: This week we celebrated our family being fully vaccinated (and Easter)! We haven’t had a ‘normal’ family hangout in over a year, so we all were feeling the blessing of each other’s company this weekend We used the occasion as an excuse to bust out our camper that we purchased in December...it was chilly but a great experience. No big news for adoption, but a huge milestone for our family.

Our 18th Live Stream Update: Happy Easter! This week on Talking with Tucker and Timmy we keep it short and sweet. No adoption news, updated outreach map and looking forward to next week's family celebration! We went from 6 to 24 states last week! We’re still hoping to hear from every state (and more!)

Our 17th Live Stream Update: This week we decided to do a "Cooking with T&T" episode! We have a couple important updates: 1) we are 3rd on the profile waiting list (yay!) and 2) we got some states that reported in! We hope to get some more this week too! Check out our take on some Instant Pot Chili...it ended up a little spicy and watery, but we had fun making it together...even if it wasn't the best chili we've made.

Our 16th Live Stream Update: This week on Talking with Tucker and Timmy we are excited to announce that our niece Rowan Elsie Weis was born last week! We also have a challenge for you: share what state you're from! We're going to keep track of all of the states and we're hoping to hear from every state. We don't know what we'll do once we reach every state, but we plan on doing something! So far we have heard from supporters in Florida and Minnesota!

Minnesota has been experiencing its first "false spring" of the year with multiple days in the upper 50 degree range which has us thinking about summer! Though its worth mentioning that this week it will be in the mid 30s again.

Summer 2020
Here’s a video with some of our summer activities. We stayed safe and socially-distanced by going camping and doing a lot of outdoor activities.
In June we participated in the local Belle Plain BLM demonstration and tended our garden.
In July we celebrated Timmy’s 30th Birthday (cake included!) with a camping trip to Glacial Lakes State Park for camping and sightseeing. And for our Anniversary we took a trip to Door County WI for some more camping adventures.
We finished up the summer with harvesting our garden and building a firepit in our backyard!
